The Wingfield organ at St Cuthbert’s, Wells

The Bath and Wiltshire Organists Association organized a trip to Wells and Downside on July 7th and were captivated by the Wingfield organ in the north transept at St Cuthbert’s in Wells. There will be an open afternoon at St Cuthbert’s on Sunday August 5th, introducing the Wingfield organ at 2.00pm 3.00pm and 4.00pm, with Dominic Gwynn talking about the organ and David Cheetham playing music from the 16th century, and tea and cakes also available.
